It's a bit far away, but there's also GenCon. It's listed as a Gaming Convention, but anime and 'costume competitions' are listed under 'What Is Gen Con?'

I found another one! I'm not sure if it'll be this year (nothing specific on their website) but there is now also SMASH, which will be in Sydney.

It's good news about GenCon, apparently its set for 2008-2010 ^_^ Then if it gets a good response it should keep coming back.

I made the zombie march randomly, i had a starlight foundation charity event with the 501st and i had a set of stormtrooper armour. So i got some friends to zombie up my face and i was the Stormtrooper Zombie....
