Brisbane Animania
So now that Supanova has come and gone, we have the fun of looking forward to Animania in May now!
This Time Animania is a two day events, however its still held at the Holiday Inn.

Hmm... maybe with two days it might be a little more decent. I hate the location, why can't they organise to be at somewhere like the Convention Centre? It's soooo much bigger and better and easier to get to.
-checks website- Hmm... so they're going to have game consoles this time, that may be able to amuse me for some time. Other than that, looks like the same ol' crap they have every year, it amuses you for about 5 minutes and then you're done. Last one I went to we only stayed about 1 1/2 hours *maybe* 2 before the group I was with went 'screw this' and we went shopping in Chinatown instead.

mmm.. i didn't even go last year, and apparently it was exactly the same as the 'mini' animania from 05.
so yeah, lets hope it's somewhat better this year.

I'm not sure if I'm going to go this year. I skipped last year due to work commitments. There's nothing really around at Animania that makes me want to go, other than cosplay. And if I did go, I'd just wear B. B. Hood again, as I don't have time to make another cosplay.
I also think the event is entirely over-priced.
...and TWO days of the same junk? hrmmm.... 
They need to make some changes to make the convention worth attending. Of course they can't change the location yet because they aren't pulling a big enough crowd, yet at the same time the lack of space is a turn off =/
I think I'll flip a coin in the days to come to see if I should bother going to Animania or not.

I am thinking about it, but yeah last year was pretty... meh.
Though I do always enjoy a reason to cosplay even if it is the same costume. ^_^
Still thinking about it though.. I might have to recruit one of you guys going to be my friend for the day as I don't think I can get the others to do it again in the same year LOL ^_^
